"We are back with our special guest, Johnny Teberio. Now Johnny, lets get straight into our next topic I'd like to ask you about. Rules of the Ancient Olympic Games. Firstly, why were married women not allowed to attend the Games as an audience?"
"You see, only men, boys and unmarried girls were allowed to attend. Married ladies back in the day would face a severe punishment if they attended. The reason why married women were not allowed to attend was because Olympia was a sacred area dedicated to Zeus and was therefore sacred for men. Unmarried women were allowed to attend, as it was thought that the Olympics were a good place for young girls, above the age of 15, were able to meet their future husbands!"
"Wow, it must have been strict business back then. Continuing on, why were men only allowed to participate in the Olympic events?"
"This was because women were considered lower-class or second-class citizens. The Olympics were considered a recreational event and the people did not think that the women should be allowed to compete."
"Well, it was a pleasure to have you here and we hope to see you soon"
