" Welcome to our late night show, Interview Central, and we are here with Michael Bobbinson. We are glad to have you as a guest."
" Thank you, and I am glad to be here too."
" Let's get straight into our interview business. Could you tell us a bit about how the Olympics started in Ancient Greece?"
"From what I have known, the Olympic Games began in 776BC in Olympia, which happened to be almost 3 milleniums ago. The games were part of a religious festival and everyone was expected to attend. Held in honour of the chief god of Greece, Zeus, the Olympics were held every four years (always on a leap year), near a valley in a city called Elis."
" Why did the Ancient Greek people decide to have the Olympics?"
"The games were held to please the Greek gods. The games were also held to bring athletes from all around the world to compete against each other in the different activities."
"We will now take a short break, don't go anywhere!"
